About me
Who am I? Why am I here? What are you doing here?
Well, I can help you answer first two questions. Last one is for you to answer.
My name is Charli, and I’m 23 years old. I’m from the Czech Republic, currently (and my whole life) living in the capital city Prague. I study a Chemical Engineering here and also writing this blog.
So, why am I here?
I’m here because I always wanted to. I always admired people who had their own blog. I’m not really sure even why. I am here to write my ideas, my stories, and my observations. My belief is that people have a lot to offer, and I want to give you my piece of mind about life and universe. This blog is made for sole purpose of sharing my ideas as a young engineer and artist. I read a lot of books, I like to find new studies, observe people in various work fields. I would like to bridge gaps here in this digital sanctuary. My purpose here is to connect art and science, because I believe that both of these entities are inseparable. They are just a different side of the same coin and when we look at it from afar, it is truly one thing.
Some may ask why not to use social media like a ‘normal’ human being. And I will answer you that I, of course, do have social media (you can follow me there). But recently I’ve been battling with it a lot. I hate that I don’t have a full control over my content as much as I would like to. I also don’t want to use a ton of different social media platforms to fill my time. I want to write and share without the need to optimise my content for a soul crashing algorithm. Which I understand the irony here, I will still be battling the Google search and AI algorithm, but at least this is my space with my own colours and my own rules.
I invite you to read any post of your own choosing, and hopefully I will give you some thought and ideas to think about today.
Hope life treats you well, fellow human being.
